SBC International Long Distance Dialing Guide

Calls to the United States or another country:
• Locate the country access number for the country you're calling from.
• Note any special dialing instructions. Example: For all country access numbers that end in "608",enter "608" after the second tone.

Calling Card calls:
• Dial the Calling Card Access Number printed on the front of your SBC Long Distance Calling Card.
• At the first prompt, select your language preference.
• Press "1" for calling card.
• Enter your calling card number and 4-digit PIN.
• Enter the phone number you're calling:
? To call the United States, enter the area code and the 7-digit phone number
? To call another country, enter "01", the country code, city code and local phone number.

Making collect calls using the calling card:
• Enter the country access number of the country you're calling from.
• Listen for instructions.
• Press "2" for collect calls.
• Follow the instructions or press "0" (zero) for operator assistance.

Directory Assistance while Overseas
• Dial the access number printed on the front of your SBC Long Distance Calling Card.
• Listen for instructions.
• When calling from a hotel, first connect with an outside line.
• For multiple calls, don't hang up. Press "#" for two seconds before entering the next number.
• Options can be dialed at any time during recorded voice instructions.
• If you misdial, press "*".
• Enter the county access number.
• At the prompt, press "0" (zero) for operator assistance.

If you experience problems with your Long Distance Calling Card while overseas, call 210-360-5402 collect. An SBC representative is always available to assist you.

Lost or Stolen Cards

Please report a lost or stolen card to SBC Long Distance immediately.
• In the United States, call 1-877-722-2251, 1-800-527-7155 or 1-888-827-7979.
• Outside the United States, call 210-360-5402 collect. Follow the directions for making a collect call.
